  • 1.) Check your out of network benefits

    -call the number on the back of your insurance card and asking, “what is my coverage for out of network therapists?”

    -or use the reimbursement calculator on this page for a quick and easy estimate of what therapy will cost you!

    2.) I’ll email you a receipt

    I’ll give you a receipt, called a superbill, once a month.

    3.) Submit your claim

    There’s likely a “submit your claim” page on your health insurance company’s website.

    Send in your receipt there and enter some demographic/insurance info.

    4.) Get reimbursed, if eligible

    Wait for a portion of your therapy payments to get reimbursed (depending on your plan, see step 1)

  • Depends on your insurance company. You can either call the number on the back of your card or search for the “submit a claim” page for your plan.

  • It’s way less complicated than it seems.

    Once you’ve gotten the first claim submittal under your belt, it’ll be easy peasy.

  • Usually it’s not, but this is something you could as when you call the number on the back of your insurance card to verify benefits.
